South West Budgerigar Club frame-lh

Cec was born in Port Isaac, Cornwall, United Kingdom and Brenda was born in Calne, Wiltshire, England. They have been married 25 years.

Cec has been breeding Budgerigars for 52 years on and off and Brenda has had an interest in Budgerigars since meeting Cec in 1976. 1998 saw Cec and Brenda, once again, take up the hobby seriously - joining South West Budgerigar Club (Mandurah) Inc and Southside Budgerigar Society Inc - and within a very short space of time had returned to the winning bench.

In March 2001 Cec was elected President of the South West Budgerigar Club and still retains the position [2004]. Brenda has been a committee person and is currently a show steward. In 2003 both Cec and Brenda became Probationary Judges.

Due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to attend the Western Australian State Selection Show, for the 2001 Australian Nationals, but since then they have become well known Australia wide for their Champion birds; and through their success at the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005Australian Nationals.

WINNERS OF THE MOST POINTS SCORED OVERALL IN CLUB YEAR:
OVERALL in 01/02 and 02/03.

Cec and Brenda are totally devoted to each other and share many varied interests, other than breeding budgies, including fishing, gardening and completing their magnificent home.

Brenda is an Artist in her own right and has many art awards to her credit and among her many other interests enjoys writing poetry and Scrap Booking.
